Harry Glen Earle, 68 of Rt 1, was found dead of carbon monoxide poisoning in his car parked at the back of his farm south of Shannondale Tuesday morning.  Montgomery County Coroner Sam Millis said Mr. Earl took his own life. Mrs. Earle had reported her husband missing to the sheriff's department at about 8:30 p.m. Monday. She said the last time members of his family had seen him was when he took them to church at New Ross Sunday morning. Sheriff Clarence Demoret reported Earle had run a flexible metal tube from the exhaust pipe of his car through a whole broken in a rear side window of the vehicle. Deputy Sheriff Fred W. Lowe assisted in the investigation. Born Jan 13, 1900 at Columbus, Ind, Mr. Earle was the son of Thomas and Lillian Voris Earle. He married Margaret Cedars Aug 31, 1943 at Salem, Ind.  Mr. Earle was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to the widow are a daughter, Miss Frances L. Earle and two sons, Thomas O. Earle and John G. Earle at home. The body is at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home where arrangements are pending. - kz
